Quality Engineer
Mid-Devon, near M5 in EX16 area.

£35-38K DOE 8.30am to 5pm Weekdays.

What is the purpose of the Quality Engineer?
As the Quality Engineer, you will support the Company in all aspects of quality activities while striving for continuous improvement, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. This role supports the QMS in meeting the requirements of ISO9001 and customer specific requirements.
 
What will you do as the Quality Engineer?
As the Quality Engineer you will encompass aiding in investigations and executing necessary measures concerning both external and internal matters. Engaging in enhancement initiatives via thorough data analysis, observation, and audit processes. Conducting both internal and external audits, overseeing findings until resolution. 
 
What skills and qualifications will you need as the Quality Engineer?
  • Degree, equivalent qualification or experience in a relevant field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to problem solve and utilise core Quality tools.
  • Ability to statistically analyse data for trends and patterns.
  • Experience or qualifications in lean tools, such as Six Sigma & FMEA
  • Experience or qualification in internal auditing is desirable
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is useful
  • Ability to use statistical software, such as SPC XL would be helpful
