30 k per annum (Working across 5 days 40 hours a week)

What is the purpose of the Customs and Compliance Administrator?
Reporting directly to the Compliance manager the successful individual will conduct in-house audits for import/export customs declaration.  Assist with international trade compliance and Customs regimes including: Customs warehousing, CFSP, ETSF and AEO
 
What will the Customs and Compliance Administrator do?
  • Conduct Customs clearance checks and keep a full audit for AEO purposes
  • Maintain customers compliance details
  • Participate in compliance projects
  • Research Customs rules and regulations to support team and customer enquires
  • Assist with keeping Customs approvals up to date, liaising with Customs directly
  • Assist with CFSP requirements
What skills and experience will the Customs and Compliance Administrator have?
  • Experience within international trade or customs warehousing
  • Knowledge of customs regimes, customs warehousing, CFSP, AEO, ETSF an advantage
  • Knowledge of import and export procedures
  • Classifying goods
  • Valuation and duty reliefs, preferences
  • Able to conduct Customs clearance checks
  • Experience of using BluJay Ricardo Duty management is an advantage
  • A positive attitude with an approachable professional nature
  • Excellent time and task management with the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel
