Cooper Golding is seeking a payroll assistant for our client who has seen a recent growth in their business. Cooper Golding’s client is a small Accountancy firm serving clients ranging from individuals to large limited companies. The client’s office has a strong focus on rapport building in a friendly environment.
What is the purpose of the Payroll Assistant?
As a Payroll Assistant, you will be conducting weekly/monthly/bi-monthly and annual payroll runs. You will see the start of your week busy with payrolls and catching up on admin and filing towards the end of the week.
What will you do as the Payroll Assistant?
- Manage the payroll for the firm’s clients
- RTI submissions
- Statutory maternity/paternity/sick pay management
- Work to sometimes rapid deadlines
- Manage pension contributions
What skills and experience will you have as the Payroll Assistant?
- Payroll experience
- Pension experience
- Adaptable and flexible
- Attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent time management
