Job Title: Senior HR Advisor
Salary £35,00 to £38,000

The Company
We are looking for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our clients successful privately-owned family ran organisation with more than three decades of motor industry experience.

What is purpose of the of the Senior HR Advisor?
  • Provide professional advice and support to Managers with HR related queries
  • Supervise the other members of the HR team
  • Assist in the implementation and development of HR policies and procedures
  • Support the Head of HR with relevant projects
What are the Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities of the Senior HR Advisor?

  • Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to deliver an exemplary HR generalist service
  • Provide advice, guidance and coaching to managers on generalist HR matters including any employee relations case management and the impact of employment law, providing a flexible; solutions focused approach
  • Take the lead with any restructuring/change management
  • Act as a point of contact for advice and guidance for the HR Advisors
  • Drive HR processes and procedures without losing sight of business objectives
  • Take the lead on certain operation aspects of HR as directed by the Head of HR
  • Support the continued development of the HR and Time Management System including management reports
  • Provide guidance and support on the use of HR systems
  • Develop and implement HR policies in line with legislation and best practice
  • Provide HR data analysis and insight, enabling informed, fact-based decision making
  • Support the implementation of varied HR projects enabling successful delivery of the HR strategy
  • Identify training and development needs for self as part of the performance management process
  • Provide assistance in all areas of HR and Payroll as required
What knowledge & specific job skill required of the Senior HR Advisor?
  • Experience of operating at a Senior HR Advisor level
  • Experience of working in a change environment
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • High level of computer skills
  • Good telephone and interpersonal skills
  • Must be accurate and show attention to detail
  • Methodical and organised approach to work
  • CIPD qualified (minimum of Level 5)
