Site Cleaner Paid £12.71 per hour
Monday to Friday - 8.00 am to 5.00 pm

Well-established company based in Barnstaple, making a wide range of corrugated cardboard packaging.
 
What is the role of a Site Cleaner?
 
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Manufacturing Shop Floor Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping within a manufacturing environment. This role is focused solely on the shop floor and plays an important part in ensuring a safe, clean, and organised workplace.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and take pride in delivering exceptional cleaning standards. Full training and an in-depth induction will be provided.
 
What are the responsibilities of a Site Cleaner?
  • Cleaning and maintaining designated walkways throughout the manufacturing shop floor
  • Cleaning barriers, safety equipment, and surrounding work areas
  • Ensuring fire extinguishers and designated safety points remain clean and accessible
  • Carrying out general housekeeping duties across the manufacturing environment
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation at all times
  • Following health and safety procedures and site regulations
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
What are the qualifications and experience required for a Site Cleaner?
Our client is looking for:

  • Strong motivation and a proactive approach to work
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the role
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Good attention to detail and pride in their work
