Working exclusively with our client a fast growing Telecoms testing company who work with some of the largest Mobile and Fixed-line Telecom operators in the world, or client has customers in the UK, Asia, Africa, Middle East and North America. What are we looking for in a Software Developer?
We are looking for a Software Developer who is a dynamic and motivated individual to support a challenging role, which will help build your development skills and experience to support your career growth. You may have a mix of experiences and skills so it doesn't matter whether you're a graduate developer, or someone who has many years’ experience within the software industry. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for problem-solving and technology and can demonstrate an ability to learn new skills and concepts. You will work within a software development team to support their bespoke telecoms testing solution, as well as working on new products and features. There is also an option to meet customers and travel abroad to resolve software issues and support the sales and operations team.
What should the Software Developer demonstrate?
You should be able to demonstrate any previous software development experience and for the right candidate, full internal training can be provided

What should the Software Developer demonstrate?
You should be able to demonstrate any previous software development experience and for the right candidate, full internal training can be provided
- Proven ability to work effectively on both individual and team projects
- Able to produce clear, concise and accurate software code and strong written and verbal communication (in English) at all levels
- Knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting technical documentation such as system specifications, software design methodology etc
- Good knowledge of Microsoft products such as Excel, Word, Outlook etc
- Work in compliance with internal processes and systems
- A motivated attitude and show a keen desire to learn new skills and technologies
What skills and experience will the Software Developer have?
- Full stack C# and C++/CLI experience utilising the .NET Framework / .NET Core
- A range of UI frameworks : Blazor / Razor, WPF and WinForms
- Any Android (Java) development experience beneficial
- T-SQL (Microsoft SQL Server)
- OO design principles and prototyping
- Strong mathematical skills for data / statistical analysis
- Debugging and software support skills
- Any experience using source control on a large shared project
- Candidates will ideally be qualified to a degree level in a related discipline and be eligible to work in the UK without restriction
- Experience and understanding of mobile and fixed-line telecom products and services
- Previous work on maintaining and updating large legacy code base
- Qualified to a degree level in a related software/IT discipline (or equivalent qualifications)
- Any other technical or professional certifications an advantage
