Since its launch in 2011, the team at Cooper Golding has worked hard to develop a reputation for the delivery of exceptional candidate and client service.

Having spent 15 years working for a number of 'traditional High Street' recruiters in her hometown of Birmingham, our founder and MD Paula Golby, had seen the good, the bad and the ugly of the recruitment business. 

Following a relocation to North Devon to be closer to her family, Paula decided it was time that something was done to 'raise the bar' when it comes to delivering great Candidate and Client service.  In 2011 Cooper Golding Recruitment was born!

The business would focus not only on doing the basics well but would invest extra effort to really get to know our candidates and clients in order to make better decisions about linking talent and companies.

Cooper Golding initially focused on supporting the needs of local Small to Medium Engineering and Manufacturing companies. Over time, however, there was an increasing demand to support candidates and clients from outside of the sectors and outside of the South West.

Over the seven years, the business has grown steadily and has become one of the regions' most respected recruitment companies and now in response to client demand from outside the region, Cooper Golding has developed Cooper Golding Specialist Talent.  

The new division offers candidates and clients the benefit of high levels of service, experience and subject matter expertise to companies nationwide, linking specialist talent across the UK with leading businesses primarily within the Engineering & Manufacturing sectors.
