Responsibilities: Having founded Cooper Golding in 2011, Paula is responsible for setting and driving the strategic direction of the business. An expert plate-spinner and experienced recruiter, she heads up sales operations and recruits for senior appointments across manufacturing and business support.
Bio: With more than 20 years of industry experience, Paula has seen the good, the bad and the ugly of recruitment first-hand. This shaped her belief that recruitment could, and should, be done better, with a stronger candidate experience, higher levels of client service and greater emphasis on long-term relationships.
Hometown: Wednesbury, in the heart of the Black Country
Loves: When she leaves the office, Paula enjoys coastal walks, cycling and spending time with her friends and family. She also enjoys a gin and tonic, a good thriller and the occasional bit of reality television. More recently, she has joined The Gym Braunton as part of her commitment to a healthier lifestyle.
Dislikes: Entitlement.
Random fact: Paula holds a second-dan black belt in Shotokan karate, an interesting but potentially effective motivational technique!
