Cooper Golding is recruiting on behalf of our client is a well established family run business in an exciting industry of growth. They have been very successful attributing customer service and loyalty. A great friendly and ambitious organisation.

What is the purpose of the role?

As part of a team of Account Managers this role look after approximately 200 live accounts. Providing excellent customer service, maximising sales and some new business development.

What will you do?

  • You will identify accounts where revenues may be shrinking and formulates strategies to reach out to these accounts and retain the customers
  • Be actively involved in developing relationships with key users
  • Gain customer feedback on product improvements
  • Coordinate with the sales team and marketing to find out ways to retain and increase customers
  • Able to meet customer needs
  • Provide timely quotes and follow up
  • Be able to offer technical expertise on the products for sale
  • Conduct account reviews regularly to review service needs and usage trends
  • Make business objectives by identifying products and pricing that meet customer needs
  • Conducts rate reviews or any dispute related to billing with strategic customers upon request
  • Gather market information to create offers that will boost the company margins and will beat his competitors
  • Indentify business trends, forecast demand and prepare the annual sales budget
  • Monitor performance keeping the budget in mind and suggest measures to maintain profits

What Skills and Experience will you have?

  • Account managers must have good communication and negotiation skills
  • You must be able to work in a team and also motivate others
  • You must have technical experience
  • Be able to negotiate and close sales
  • You must know the basic technical functions and must be proficient in IT able to use the CRM system and general IT is essential.
  • You should have an aptitude for product knowledge.
