Seeking a talented Business Development Manager to cover the North-West Territory for our client who is a distributor of manufactured products. Ideally you will need to be based in or around the Cheshire area to capitalise on this opportunity.

What is the purpose of the Business Development Manager?
  
With an account base of over 200 clients (installers, distributors, designers, and end-users) this is a Relationship Management / Business Development territory sales role responsible for introducing new products, training distributor staff and supporting distributors to win larger projects.  A high emphasis of the role is managing and motivating the distributors to sell / use your products over the competition together with providing manufacturer’s support.

What will the Business Development Manager do?
  • As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing existing relationships within the regions of Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales and in between.
  • This is a classic 'territory management' sales role supporting your distributor / Installer account base.
  • Flexible to travel around the country to different cities and stay over night.
What skills and experience will the Business Development Manager have?
  • ​Experience in a field based Business Development role 
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent communication skills and highly organised
  • Energetic and outgoing, with the ability to work on your own and within a team
  •  Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), computer literate and technically savvy.
  • Able to absorb industry knowledge and training material quickly
