Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a commercial strategy to grow accounts within the Defence and Industrial sectors, aligned with business goals.
- Identify, engage, and secure new customers, while strengthening existing client relationships.
- Create and manage account-specific sales strategies to maximise long-term value.
- Define immediate and long-term target accounts; map key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and integrate contractual requirements into operations.
- Present business cases and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Monitor market trends, competitive threats, and strategic opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with customer quality and operations teams to establish a trusted partnership.
- Support marketing efforts and enhance the company’s brand as a "Supplier of Choice."
- Leverage internal networks and identify strategic partnerships to support international growth.
- Contribute to forecasting, planning, and market analysis.
- Proven success in business development and key account management.
- Demonstrated experience in securing and growing high-value customer relationships.
- Strong background in Defence and/or Industrial sectors, ideally including connectors or fibre optics.
- Deep understanding of relevant markets and product landscapes.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and results-oriented, with solid project leadership abilities.
- High personal integrity, resilience, and professionalism.
- Positive, adaptable, and self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively as needed to meet customer and business demands.
