Electrical Field Service Engineer - up to £35K hybrid role with company car and travel expenses.
 
Are you passionate about being on the road and covering diverse locations across the UK? Ideal for candidates  located within easy access to major motorways such as the M62, M4, M6 or M1.
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our client as a Field Service Engineer, focusing on the commissioning, routine maintenance, and fault diagnosis/rectification of a wide range of emergency lighting systems.

What will you do the Electrical Field Service Engineer?
  • On-the-Road Expertise: Embrace the opportunity to travel across the UK, taking on assignments that require your unique skills and dedication.
  • System Commissioning: Ensure the seamless commissioning of emergency lighting systems, meticulously adhering to relevant British Standards and guidelines.
  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance activities, ensuring the ongoing reliability and functionality of emergency lighting systems.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Rectification: Demonstrate a keen ability to diagnose faults in emergency lighting systems, providing efficient and effective solutions to guarantee optimal system performance.
  • Timely and High-Quality Work: Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver work to the highest standards, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
  • Detailed Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports detailing completed work, recommendations, and any relevant information, ensuring transparency and clarity.
  • Customer Liaison: Cultivate strong communication skills to engage effectively with multiple sites, addressing queries and building lasting relationships.
  • Safety First: Operate in accordance with health and safety policies, prioritizing a safe working environment for both yourself and each site.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively as part of a small, dedicated team, contributing to a positive and supportive working atmosphere.
What skills and experience will the Electrical Field Service Engineer have?
  • NVQ3 in Electrical or Electronics: to support your technical expertise.
  • Minimum Experience: 3 years' hands-on experience preferably in emergency lighting service/commissioning roles.
  • BS5266 Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of British Standard 5266, showcasing your commitment to excellence in emergency lighting systems.
  • Customer Service: Exhibit exceptional customer service skills, emphasizing the importance of client satisfaction in every interaction.
  • Technical Proficiency: Navigate Microsoft packages with ease, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Showcase strong interpersonal, listening, and influencing skills, both in person and over the telephone.
  • Transport: Must have a full valid driving licence 
What will the Electrical Field Service Engineer get in return?
  • Salary of up to £35000.00 per annum
