Calling all qualified Forklift Counterbalance Drivers!
This is a great opportunity to start immediately in a Barnstaple company and go from a Temp to Perm with a 40 hours per week contract!
2pm to Midnight Monday to Thursday - LONG WEEKEND OFF
PAY is initially £11.60 per hour and the company has structured pay bands with increases in each grade. They also have a great training scheme and are keen to invest in you, when you become part of their team.
What you will do as a Forklift Counterbalance Driver:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload materials and products from incoming and outgoing vehicles/trucks
- Transport materials and products to designated areas in the warehouse or production facility
- Stack and organize materials and products in an efficient and safe manner
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues or malfunctions
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management by accurately recording incoming and outgoing shipments
What experience and skills you will have as a Forklift Counterbalance Driver:
- Proven experience as a forklift operator or similar role
- Valid forklift operator certification or license
- Strong knowledge of forklift safety procedures and practices
- Ability to operate different types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, or reach trucks
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
