Junior Sales Executive
39 hours per week with 4 day working week after a 5 day a week training period.

The Company 

We are looking to recruit a sales executive as part of a growing sales team based in our clients Barnstaple office to support and further develop  well established  sales program. Working within a great brand and a great company ethos our client manufactures and distributes their product globally. 
 
What is the purpose of the Junior Sales role?
 
Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager you will be part of a sales team servicing our clients  extensive North American customer base and will support the sales team (UK and USA based) on a day-to-day basis.  Full product and process training will be given enabling you to build your sales skills and technical knowledge of their product range as you work within an experienced and passionate team.
 
The role will involve building rapport and developing relationships with customers, including showrooms, interior designers and architects via telephone calls, other virtual communication services and email to assist with their enquiries whilst also introducing and presenting the full range of products and services offered.  Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a confident, focused demeanour are essential attributes for the role.
 
What will you do as the Junior sales person?
  • Supporting the sales team.
  • Front line telephone and email support.
  • Produce and present detailed quotations in the recognised format and to agreed timescales.
  • Servicing and progressing sales leads and enquiries from initial enquiry to after sales.
  • Ensuring all customer quotations, brochure and sample requests are followed up efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within the CRM system.
  • Develop, nurture and manage internal and external relationships.
  • Assisting with sales administration tasks such as returns notes, sample documentation.
  • Marketing campaign follow up.
  • Develop an industry and product expertise.
What skills and experience will the Junior sales person have?
  • The desire to work in an office-based sales environment.
  • Confident telephone manner.
  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  • Take pride in your work and have an excellent level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate a competence with Microsoft Office package.
  • An understanding of the exceptional customer service levels associated with a luxury brand.
  • An understanding of business-to-business sales processes within a demanding sector.
  • A passionate individual who thrives on solving problems and seeing projects through to the close.
  • A practical / technical interest in our clients range of products and market.
  • Focused and organised team player.
  • Some experience of working in an office environment desirable.
  • An active interest and desire to learn more of luxury brands, interior design and architecture.
  • A desire to learn and progress with a proactive attitude to develop your knowledge.
What will the Junior Sales get in return?
  • A starting salary of up to £24,336 per annum dependant on experience.
  • Annual performance bonus.
  • 39 hours per week on a 4 day or 5-day pattern with a 30 minute lunch/dinner break.
