The Warehouse/Logistics Manager will also be part of the Operational Managers team and oversee the Warehouse Operations at 2 sites, occasional travel may be required to the Berkshire site.
 
Job Purpose Summary
To Manager all Logistic activities covering warehousing , distribution , dispatch and transport . To lead H&S activity's at both sites and be responsible for facility's management related to the building maintenance schedule. To manage the daily workings of the warehouse staff and support other areas of the business including purchasing , sales , accounts and general administrating.
 
 
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing the logistics.
To provide motivation and development for reporting staff.
To process customers orders and arrange delivery's and collections through operational logistics.
Responsible for transport planning and drivers routing.
Responsible for time management.
To work closely with other departments to service customers.
To perform annual performance reviews for reporting staff.
To manage the company's 'O' License and our drivers compliance requirements.
To oversee various company internal checks and compliance standards.
To assist with various third party support services.
To be part of the operations management team.
To support the business by being perceptive and future orientated.
To promote company values internally and externally.
