Temp to perm role based in Barnstaple
Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 4.30 pm
Friday 7.30 am to 12.30 pm

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including goods handling, inventory control, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented, contributing to the efficient and safe running of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load and unload deliveries from lorries and containers using appropriate manual handling techniques.
- Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment to move stock within the warehouse.
- Carry out accurate quality checks on goods received and dispatched, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Perform regular lifting and manual tasks while following all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately, preparing them for timely dispatch.
- Keep the warehouse organised by ensuring stock is stored correctly and inventory systems are maintained.
- Assist with the upkeep and basic maintenance of warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Support all shipping and receiving activities, including checking incoming goods and preparing outgoing deliveries.
- You MUST have an updated Counterbalance and Reach or Counterbalance and Double Deep license
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is advantageous, but full training will be provided.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy items throughout the shift.
- Familiarity with stock control, order picking, and packing processes.
- Basic mechanical understanding is a plus for assisting with equipment upkeep.
- Strong focus on maintaining a safe working environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
