Production-Assembly Operative Pay £11.44 per hour
Temp to Perm role based in Umberleigh
Monday to Friday working 7.30am to 4.30pm



About our Client

An established and experienced provider of bespoke timber A Frames for new housing projects. This is an expanding and a growing company who manufacture a large range of bespoke timber structures for housing developments.
 
What is the purpose of the Production Operative?

Assembling A Frames and Trusses to customer specifications, whilst adhering to all quality and Health & Safety policies and regulations
 
What are the responsibilities of a Production Operative?
  • Construction of wooden A Frames  
  • Assemble wooden trusses using power tools such as nail guns and hand tools
  • Operate large machinery – cutting wood to specific sizes
 
What are the qualifications and experience required for the Production Operation?
  • Experience of operating machinery
  • Reading measurement, a must 
  • Working with woodwork ideal but not essential
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Work to targets
  • Be aware that the role is physically demanding and heavy lifting will be involved
What will you have in return:
  • £11.44 per hour paid weekly in arrears
  • 15 minutes break paid
  • Monday to Friday working 7.30am to 4.30pm
  • Parking on site
  • Opportunity to go Perm after probation period
