Our well established manufacturing client is seeking a Quality Manager to join and lead their team.
About the role: The Quality Manger will take ownership of the quality assurance team and function to strengthen customer confidence, and will be responsible for ensuring consistent operational delivery to the highest standards.

Duties of the Quality Manager:
- Develop and lead the QA team, building capability and resilience
- Facilitate daily Tier 1 Quality meetings
- Contribute to Tier 2 functional reviews to keep priorities aligned with the operational plan.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate Quality-related risks that could impact delivery performance
- Ensure all FAIR, ISIR and PSW activities meet customer and regulatory requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer quality matters
- Lead internal and customer 8D investigations
- Driving effective root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions
- Champion Lean principles and support continuous improvement initiative across the business
- Manage compliance with REACh, RoHS, Conflict Minerals and other regulatory requirements
- Provide support to CI problem-solving activities as needed
- Travel to customers, suppliers and group companies across the UK and Europe
Requirements and Qualifications of the Quality Manager:
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Management within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong analytical capability and a structured approach to problem solving.
- A solid understanding of Aerospace Quality and regulatory requirements.
- Internal or Lead Auditor qualification in ISO9001 and/or AS9100.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with customers.
- A proactive mindset, embracing Lead culture and continuous improvement.
