Recruitment –Specialist Engineering/Manufacturing Recruitment Consultant

Financial:

Objective: to consistently achieve the minimum productivity standards of invoiced fees.  

Ensure consistent achievement of both financial and activity targets agreed and set, to include

  • Monthly invoiced revenue
  • Average fee value
  • Applicant interviews attended
  • Reach/Engagement
  • Business Development Calls/Visits
  • Applicant attraction

Ensure competitive and profitable fees negotiated in line with company and / or branch pricing directives

Minimise aged debt within the branch by ensuring credit checks completed in line with company policy and T&C`s issued to all customers

Ensure credits raised do not exceed the acceptable level as per company standard

Participate in the annual budget setting process

 

Applicant Attraction, Management and Retention

Objective: to ensure effective recruitment strategies and processes administered

Identify and communicate applicant skill categories required to meet business demands

Participate in applicant attraction activities ensuring all resources available are utilised, cost effective recruitment solutions are used and, ultimately, permanent vacancies are filled

Conduct full and thorough applicant registrations to ensure (1) applicant requirements and capabilities understood, (2) accurate and speedy matching can be completed (3) applicant commitment ascertained

Conduct applicant spec calls in line with minimum standards as per company directive

Maintain accurate filing systems using CRM for both active/inactive/placed applicants ensuring all contact and activity completed is recorded

Conduct full and thorough pre-interview and post interview briefings with all applicants

Conduct satisfaction/control calls to all placed candidates as per process to minimise credits, do not starts and to increase application satisfaction

Ensure all applicant issues, questions and concerns raised are managed in a timely manner ensuring a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned

Customer satisfaction, retention and development

Objective: effectively manage all customer requirements 

Obtain full and detailed vacancy capture sheet to ensure (1) customer requirements understood (2) accurate matching can be completed (3) customer commitment to interview ascertained

Agree and meet all response times with customers where vacancy taken

Ensure all post placement calls are made and recorded to both candidate and customer

Ensure unfilled/cancelled vacancy levels do not exceed company standard by effective job taking, accurate and speedy matching together with effective customer control and servicing

Where SLA in place, ensure all recruitment criteria is met and /or achieved

Initiate sufficient levels of contact to all customers ensuring strong relationships built and customer commitment maintained and developed

Participate in customer satisfaction and retention activities, to include

  • Telephone and postal surveys
  • Visits

Conduct site visit to all new customers (prior to supply where possible) or within two weeks of first vacancy being secured.

Maximise all opportunities within existing customers to ensure sole/preferred supplier status achieved, all sectors conduct regular service reviews with all customers.

Support and participate in customer hospitality and entertainment events

Identify and target lapsed / decreased spend customers and implement activities to address

Ensure all customer issues, questions and concerns raised are managed in a timely manner ensuring a satisfactory conclusion for all concerned

New business Development

Objective: to ensure effective sales strategies in place and year on year increased level of new business conversions achieved

Generate leads using all resources available, record information on CRM and action immediately

Participate in territory management

Identify competitor information using all resources available, record information in competitor file to implement on Bullhorn and action immediately

Identify and manage own portfolio of prospect target accounts ensuring agreed activity is completed and conversion of accounts is achieved

Ensure consistently complete sales activities as per activity plan

Ensure all required sales letters and materials are sent to prospective customers in a timely manner and meet company standards

Attend networking and exhibitions.

Write material for reach/engagement and showcase expertise in the specific space, as blogs, newsletters and other mediums as required to include press, magazines and all social media platforms.

Administration, Processes and Procedures

Objective: to ensure all operating methods and processes are completed to the required standard and install audits are passed

Ensure adherence to administrative processes, recruitment procedures and initiatives

Ensure adherence to all legalities relating to both the registration and placement of applicants together with all checks relating to individuals right to work in the UK

Complete reports and requests for information within agreed timescales

Maintain high level of branch housekeeping standards via own behaviour together with managing internal standards

Attend/participate in branch team meetings and individual review meetings

Attend and participate in regional workshops and focus groups
