What is the purpose of the Health and Mechanical Engineer role?
To ensure the safe maintenance, repair or replacement in parts of plant, equipment and systems to also ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that plant and equipment remains operational. You will be required to ensure a clear timeline of operational down time for each repair or modification required. 
 
 
 What will be the responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer?

• Working to a planned maintenance system
• Heavy involvement in repair and modification of plant machinery 
• A decent level of input into the plant and the machinery they have ie new machinery and updating of the units. 
• Working with a team of maintenance engineers to ensure the plant is fully operational. 

 
What skills and experience will the Health and Mechanical Engineer have?

• Time served Mechanical Engineer
• Previous experience in a similar role. 
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems are desirable. 
• Hands on approach 
• Ability to work individually and as part of a multi-disciplined team
• Work to tight deadlines
• Prioritise work load according to the business needs. 
• Flexible approach to the role
• Good communication skills to ensure all departments are aware of any issues.
• Able to work on own initiative
