What is the purpose of the Quality Engineer role?
 
Parts approval including:
 
  • Quality checking item conformance to drawings/product
  • Investigation and resolution of quality issues
  • Sample inspection, verification and administration
  • ISIR/QCR report writing and communication
  • Re-sourcing/co-sourcing process
 
 
What will be the responsibilities of the Quality Engineer?
  • To verify item compliance to drawings/product using all equipment in the Technical Centre
  • To generate clear and concise reports, ISIR and QCR, making and communicating recommendations following investigations
  • Positively commit to , and undertake any agree training program
 
What skills and experience will the Quality Engineer have?
Essential:
  • Experience of working in a quality/production environment
  • Experience reading engineering drawings
  • Technical report writing
  • Demonstrable IT competency
  • Planning, organizing, and time management
 
Desirable:
  • CMM experience
  • Knowledge and experience of agricultural parts/machinery
  • Automotive electrical wiring and component knowledge
  • Experience of aftermarket or OE parts environment
  • Professional or academic qualification appropriate to subject area
