Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day

What will be the responsibilities of the Quality Manager?

  • To develop, implement and maintain Compliance Monitoring Program and Quality System over Part 145 and ISO 9001 standard.

  • To ensure national and foreign aviation regulations are observed and implemented.

  • Liaising with Civil Aviation Authority and surveyors.

  • Managing findings and non-compliance reports.

  • To oversee corrective action plans and follow-ups to ensure compliance.

  • To perform audits according to international and regulatory requirements at all stages of the process from scope, objectives, follow-up and closing.

  • To audit aircraft component technicians for the purpose of certification, auditing, validity of equipment and tools calibration.

  • To assess and monitor third party service providers, ensuring standards are maintained.

  • Site visits to overseas facilities to facilitate audits.

 
What skills and experience will the Quality Manager have?

  • Experience of working in quality management, quality auditing and compliance systems.

  • Commercial/General aviation experience preferable.

  • Previously held EASA Form 4 desirable but not essential.

  • Knowledge and understanding of CAA/EASA regulations including Part 145.

  • Auditing experience including planning, conducting and reporting.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently.

  • MS Office proficiency.

  • Able to travel occasionally within UK and overseas.

  • Fluent in English, verbal and written.
