Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for repairing and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in equipment functionality.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to mechanical work.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various mechanical systems.
• Driving Licence
• An MOT licence is preferred, but we’re happy to support the right candidate in obtaining one.
• Ideally some formal vehicle mechanic qualifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
