Based in Newton Abbot and Exeter, the company supplies chilled, frozen and prepared foods to the hospitality and catering sector and are continuing to grow and develop at great pace.

What is the purpose of the Maintenance Engineer role?

Based at Newton Abbot and covering maintenance requirements for this and the Exeter production site, You will be supporting the Maintenance Manager and be multi-skilled with an electrical bias. 

What will be the responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer?

• Responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance of food processing equipment.

• Maintain and administrate a schedule of continuous planned maintenance across both sites.

• Attend and resolve breakdowns, including out of hours if required.

• Support production facility and also be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of buildings and internal and external fixtures and fittings.

What skills and experience will the Maintenance Engineer have?

• Experience in similar food manufacturing environment preferred

• Preferable experience with Multi-Vac, Riggs, Rationale and Acrivarn equipment

• Knowledge of refrigeration systems beneficial

• Excellent organisational and time management skills
