Metal Fabrication Operative
Exeter
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
PAY DOE
PERMANENT ROLE
 
Position Purpose
To work in a busy metal fabrication department.  
Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with the company's Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Operating Metalworking Equipment - Both Automated and Manual.
  • Punch Machines
  • Brake Press
  • Fold Equipment
  • Roll Form Equipment
  • Riveting Equipment
  • Grinding/ Linishing Equipment
  • CNC Routers
Foundation / Position Requirements
  • A good all-round general education
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Good time keeping and attendance.
  • Reliable, flexible, decisive, conscientious workmanship with the ability to work in a tidy and organised manner
  • The ability to work in a team or on your own when required
  • Self-Motivation
  • The ability to take instruction from the Supervisor and Manager and ask when unsure of tasks undertaken or given
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment would be helpful but not essential as training will be given
  • Right to work in the UK
